In the spring of 1996, The Philippine Volleyball League (PVL ), a non-profitable organization, was founded by brother and sister, Dan and Lynn Reyrao. In 2001, an initial website, http://jump.to/pvl2001 , was set up to spread the "word" of the league. Apparently the "word" had spread like wildfire and in the Summer of 2003, www.mypvl.com was created. This current website has the schedules, statistics, the teams, photos, news and contacts, for everyone in the league and beyond to use.
Over the years, PVL had emulated from the other sports organizations, such as, the Philippine National Basketball Association (PNBA ), the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA ), and the Filipino Softball League (FSL ). The PVL has manifested its image from these organizations and has become successful through the years.
Our future goal for the PVL is to succeed and have more participants who enjoy and love the sport of volleyball.
Our mission is to respond to the Philippine Volleyball League and to commit to a supportive environment; empowering individuals personally, professionally, and with great sportsmanship.
